ATLANTIC GT3
RULES AND REGULATIONS1. Registration
1.1 All members must be registered on the Atlantic Motorsport forum and Discord using their real full name.
1.2 An identical user name is required for the in-game simulation.
1.3 When you sign up, you are agreeing to be present during all races of the season unless you provide an absence report in the Absence thread. Absences need to be reported at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will lead to a DNS (Did Not Show) flag, two of those and you are running the risk of loosing your spot in the championship. 1.4 You must CONFIRM your presence with at least 24 hours before of which race in the respective topic to have access to the server password .2. Points Scoring
2.1 The standard point system is (25, 22, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) rewarding the top 18 finishers of the race.
2.2 The driver must complete at least 75% of the distance of the winning car to be eligible for championship points.3. Cars and Liveries
3.1 Drivers are allowed to switch cars between races.
3.2 Liveries must not contain any explicit images or graphics, nor any profanities, political propaganda, biased messages, or any other material deemed inappropriate or offensive.4. Discord
4.1 Joining the “GT3 championship” voice channel on out Discord server during the race is not mandatory but highly recommended.
4.2 Using push-to-talk is mandatory as no one wants to listen to rattling force feedback, barking dogs or yelling wives during the race.5. Race
5.1 All races will use formation lap behind safety car with rolling start (not allowed overtake before Start/Finish line) so make sure you’re aware of how this works before joining a race.
5.2 To participate in the race, a driver must join the server in the warm-up at the latest.
5.3 To participate in the race, a driver must set a qualifying time within 107% of the fastest lap time.
5.4 The race only starts with a minimum of 5 drivers.
5.5 Race Restarts
a) If a driver disconnects due to the change from warm-up to race.
b) If a significant percentage of the participants experience connection problems.
c) If the race settings or grid order are wrong.
d) If the server sustains severe technical issues.
5.6 Server Failures
a) Less then 25% race distance run = re-start.
b) 25% – 50% race distance run = race cancel.
c) 50% – 75% race distance run = partial points.
c) More then 75% race distance run = full points.6. Reporting an Incident
6.1 No report = no investigation = no penalty
6.2 An incident report can be made on our Discord server by sending a private message to either ‘Ze Jesus-ATM’ or ‘Martin Vindis-ATM’
6.3 An incident report must always contain.
a) The name of the reported driver.
b) A short description of the incident, without rant.
