In an era where real and virtual motor racing worlds are coming closer and closer, Atlantic Motorsport has had the privilege to be invited by the organization to Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Brasil that was held at Estoril Race Track.
To those following motorsport from the real racing standpoint, this recent visit of Porsche Império GT3 Cup to Estoril does not go unnoticed.
From Aug 2 till Aug. 4 this reputed competition held by Porsche Brasil, visited the well-known Estoril Race Track, in order to comply with one of the stages of its extensive calendar.
Further to the numerous drivers present for the various competitions, including some famous names from our ‘sister country’, Estoril Race Track has been flooded by Porsche´s and motor racing fans. Some even had the chance to go to the track for some dazzlingly fast accelerations.
Among the great names of Brazilian motoring present in Estoril, we highlight Nelson Piquet Jr and Lucas di Grassi, both recurrent names in ongoing Formula E season. We had also the chance to meet Cacá Bueno, Daniel Serra, and César Ramos a few of Brasil´s Stock Car big names.
Atlantic Motorsport’s presence at Porsche Império GT3 Cup Brasil event at Estoril is no coincidence.
This happens as a consequence of the team’s participation at the Porsche eSports Carrera Cup Brazil, an iRacing simulator race. Our drivers won a draw that granted them the chance to participate in a Porsche Império GT3 Clinic event. As a result, they will be at the wheel of a Porsche GT3 Cup currently participating in Season 19 of this prestigious race.
Having said so, in September, during the Porsche Império GT3 Cup stage at José Carlos Pace (Interlagos) race track, Augusto Tristão and Lucas Bernardo will represent Atlantic Motorsport, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and making a dream come true.
Last but not least, we would also like to underline the support of Rafael Sanque from IRB eSports, which also made this weekend possible, as well as OnWheelsTv that has been promoting this event with Atlantic Motorsport from its early beginning.
It has been a superb weekend for Atlantic Motorsport. It has been a great event and once again our congratulations to the gigantic operation by Porsche Brasil that wound up in a pristine performance.
